Hugh is a CPA with over 30 years of experience across all areas of accounting, finance and taxation. His industry experience includes Real Estate, Healthcare, Construction and Manufacturing.

Prior to joining Porter Realty, Hugh was Chief Financial Officer of several companies in Central Virginia, including Virginia Urology, Stony Point Surgery Center and Greenrock Materials. In these roles, he was responsible for directing all aspects of each company’s financial infrastructure, including accounting, finance, treasury, purchasing and compliance.

Hugh started his career with 11 years as a CPA with public accounting firms in D.C. and Richmond, working with small and midsize companies across a wide variety of industries.
